Copying Metadata
We’re excited about our new metadata copy feature. It allows users to enter metadata into a single file, then copy that data and paste it into other files. The copy and paste metadata functions are both found in the action menu as they’re related to file control. For example, here we have a file with some metadata in the action menu.
We can see the copy metadata function by clicking this or copy the metadata by selecting this file and selecting the target files and selecting the action menu again. The paste metadata function will be visible. Clicking this and then confirming the overwrite warning in the pop-up window will paste the metadata into the files. It will take a second or two for the metadata to appear. Refreshing the browser auto-selecting and selecting the files will show the newly pasted metadata.
