Filter by file type
Axle has a very useful filtering tool which makes finding files quick and easy. The filter can be used on its own or with our simple and advanced search tool. Firstly, by selecting the file type that I’d like to filter video, audio or images, I can view those files on their own. Using the filter also flattens out complex folder structures like this one to show only the selected file types.
When using simple search users can enter a search term, then filter the results to quickly narrow the search to show the specific files in the advanced search. The filter can be selected along with the search terms required.
